Gutfeld Asks Trump What He Wouldve Done With Would Be Shooter

Gutfeld asks Trump what he would've done with would-be shooter

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld interviewed former President Donald Trump on his late-night show "Gutfeld!" on Tuesday, and asked him what he would have done if he had been president when a man attempted to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Trump said he would have "neutralized" the attacker "very, very quickly."

The suspect, identified as Nicholas Roske, was arrested near Kavanaugh's home in Maryland on Wednesday. He was charged with attempted murder and was ordered held without bond.

According to court documents, Roske told police that he was upset about the recent leak of a draft opinion suggesting that the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade. He said he traveled from California to Maryland with the intent to kill Kavanaugh.

Gutfeld asked Trump what he would have done if he had been president when the attack occurred.

"I would have neutralized him very, very quickly," Trump said.

Trump also said that he believes the attack on Kavanaugh was politically motivated.

"This is a political assassination attempt," Trump said. "This is not just a random act of violence. This is a political assassination attempt."

The attack on Kavanaugh has raised concerns about the safety of Supreme Court justices. In the wake of the attack, the court has increased security measures.

The Supreme Court is expected to issue its ruling on Roe v. Wade in the coming weeks. The ruling is likely to be closely watched by both sides of the abortion debate.
